This rare Nikon E3s 12/1998
Estimated total production of Nikon E3s is 220. Production date corresponds very fine with the price labels from "Photo Team", that says 12/1998.
The camera is hardly used and looks close to new. There are mild signs of use and very carefully handling. As seen in the pictures, the boxes are in excellent condition too, as well as brochures, manuals and guides.
The camera works flawless, and the power-unit EH-3 charges the battery EN-3 and supplies the camera via the ES-1. I use the ES-1 because the old battery EN-3 is not fully able to provide the voltage needed to power up the camera. According to nikonweb.com, the Nikon D1 uses the same battery as the E3s. In that case, it will be relatively easy, to get a replacement battery. The memory card EC-15 works fine. The camera works prefect with the SB-24 flash and AF-Nikkors snaps into focus, fast and reliably. Shutter, aperture control, view finder, view finder-LCD and top-LCD are all perfect too.
